About HSDT
Creating opportunities for children and young people through sport across Haringey.
Who We Are
Haringey Sports Development Trust has been creating opportunities for children and young people through sport for more than 30 years.
Haringey Sports Development was established in 1992, with early backing from the Tottenham Grammar School Foundation, and gained charitable status in 1994.
From the beginning, the aim was to give young people the opportunity to take part in sport and to support Haringey schools in developing high-quality Physical Education and School Sport.
Today
Today, the Trust works across schools, clubs and communities, creating opportunities for young people to participate, develop their skills, volunteer, compete and progress in sport.
Our work includes School Sport, Physical Education and Physical Activity, the London Youth Games, sports development programmes, holiday sports camps, coaching and leadership development, volunteering and opportunities that help young people progress from participation through to performance.
Working Together
The Trust works closely with schools, community organisations, sports clubs and local and national partners to ensure that young people across Haringey have opportunities to be active and fulfil their potential through sport.
