HARINGEY ANGELS GIRLS BASKETBALL CLUB
Providing an opportunity for young ladies to receive training and
competition between the ages of 8-18.
All coaches are certified and are screened for suitability to work
with young people.
TRAINING SESSION INFORMATION
Tuesday and Thursday - 5-7.30pm - Greig City Academy
Other Training Sessions - Saturday mornings
Followed by National league games for our teams
The hgcb - Play in the London Junior League
Held at Space Centre, Falkirk St. N1 on Sundays
Primary Base in Haringey - but very strong ties with Enfield, Barnet
and Hackney
Club represents - 20 different schools

OVERNIGHT TRAVELS
Girls will sometimes be asked to contribute to costs of competitions
and overnights for long distance travels.

the youth games basketball finals last four years - winning three
times

year - won the World Youth Games
• Hackney
or Haringey - won the London cadet or junior league in past three
years.

CLUB RULES FOR PARTICIPANTS
1. Play within the rules and respect all officials and their decisions.
2. Treat players from other clubs with respect and friendliness.
3. Be on time and inform your coach regarding lateness? Illness
before you let the club down.
4. Dress correctly for all trainings and matches.
5. Smoking, drinking alcohol or drugs of any kind are not allowed
during any club activity.
6.This is a high performance club. Hard work, enthusiasm and a willingness
to listen and learn are expected as a matter of course.
