LONDON YOUTH GAMES

For 47 years, the London Youth Games have been an amazing celebration of young Londoners, bringing together communities across generations in a spirit of mutual respect, confidence, and trust.

Since our formation to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee in 1977, we've proudly championed the potential of sport and development in the lives of young Londoners, and nationally and internationally in the Commonwealth using the power of sport and physical activity to help them lead healthier, safer, and more successful lives.

Our Games are not just about competition, they're about participation, inclusion, diversity, and creating an opportunity where every young person can feel valued and empowered within society.

As we look forward across the next three years to our 50th anniversary, we're excited about delivering the London 2012 legacy pledge to inspire a generation.

We have continued to deliver this commitment through London Youth Games for the Olympic and Paralympic cycles of Rio 2016, Tokyo 2021 and now Paris 2024.

With the London Youth Games Finals Festival hosted at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, we are committed to ensuring the London Youth Games is where young people can thrive and communities can unite.

The 2024 Games season will mark the end of our partnership with Nike. We could not have achieved the huge difference we have made for young Londoners without their support over the last 6 years and we are grateful for this.
